Susan Mazzali – Registered Veterinary Technician – Head (Lead)
Susan began working at Brack Animal Hospital soon after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 1979. She was promoted to Lead (Head) Technician and has been supervising our technician staff for several years. Susan enjoys educating school children and other community groups about pet care through tours of our hospital. She shares her home with many pets including 8 cats, a rabbit, a turtle, a chinchilla, a lizard and a toad, and she is married with one daughter. Susan is an active member of Beta Sigma Phi.

 

Jo-Anne Spitse – Veterinary Technician
Jo-Anne graduated from the St. Clair College Animal Health Technician program in 1986. Since joining Brack Animal Hospital, Jo-Anne’s organizational skills and creativity have been the catalyst for many innovative ideas, as the hospital continues to evolve and grow. She enjoys attending continuing education seminars and conferences. Jo-Anne has been a participant in the Chamber of Commerce Challenge Cup and the annual MS Super Cities Walk-a-thon. Much of Jo-Anne’s leisure time is spent with her husband cheering from the sidelines as their three boys participate in their many sports. Jo-Anne also shares her home with her Golden Retriever, Tess.

Sherry Godin – Veterinary Technician
Sherry is our first Veterinary Technician to have graduated from the Ridgetown College Veterinary Technician program. In 2002 she completed her externship at Brack Animal Hospital and was hired shortly thereafter. Sherry performs her duties caring for our patients as a Veterinary Technician and as one of our Pharmacy Technicians. She enjoys spending time with her family and their Boston Terriers: Lily, Barry, Smalty, and Benjamin.

 

Deanna Vetor – Registered Veterinary Technician
Deanna joined Brack Animal Hospital as a Registered Veterinary Technician shortly after graduation from St. Clair College in 1993. Her professional interests include ultrasound and emergency care. She also enjoys volunteering for the Erie Wildlife Rescue. She enjoys fishing and gardening in her leisure time. Deanna has a cat, Lacey, a dog, Rylee, and four rabbits. She lives outside Windsor with her husband and son.

 

Deanna Lauzon – Registered Veterinary Technician
After completing a highschool co-operative education placement at Brack Animal Hospital, Deanna enrolled in the St. Clair College Veterinary Technician program, working part-time as a Kennel Attendant during her college years. Deanna was hired as a Registered Veterinary Technician upon graduation in 1992. She has a special interest in the challenging yet rewarding task of caring for newborn puppies and kittens and has also cared for many baby raccoons through volunteer work with the Erie Wildlife Rescue. She is also a volunteer with Windsor/Essex Therapeutic Riding Association. Deanna and her family are the proud owners of a Golden Retriever named Walker, and a cat named Smudge.

 

Konrad Seisun – Veterinary Technician

 

Konrad was born in Malta, Europe and moved to Canada in 1989 to attend the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College. Upon his graduation in 1992, he began working at Brack Animal Hospital. He enjoys working with all pets including birds and reptiles. Konrad currently works for us part-time as his interest in animal dentistry lead him to pursue a career in the human health care field as a Dental Hygienist.

 

Peg Wonsch – Veterinary Technician (Animal Health Technician)

 

Peg graduated in 1977 from the St. Clair College Animal Health Technician Program and has worked at Brack Animal Hospital ever since! She performs most of her duties caring for our medical and surgical patients and supervising our laboratory. Peg has a special interest in small animal dentistry. Peg loves to travel and spend time with her family, their Golden Retriever, Bailey and two cats, Odie (aka Shoes) and Socks.

 

Danielle Hewitt – Registered Veterinary Technician/CSR 

Danielle graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at St. Clair College in 2008. She joined our team shortly after graduating, working both as a technician and client services representative. She enjoys working with all animals and has a particular interest in exotic pets. In her spare time she enjoys pet sitting and spending time with friends.
