To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, Brack Animal Hospital operates primarily by appointment. We will try to accomodate walk-ins, but there is often a wait. Emergency cases always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. A "drop off" means you can bring your pet at a time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours, or for the day. We suggest an early morning "drop off" time if your pet is sick. Veterinary technicians are available to triage sick patients and assist the team in scheduling. The doctors will examine the patient in between appointments, or at the time reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she/he will telephone you to discuss the diagnosis and discharge instructions. For this service, you MUST provide a telephone number where you can be reached for the duration of the day. There is a nominal fee for this service. To ensure the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all core vaccinations including Bordetella (kennel cough) be current for boarding and grooming services. We make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, however, pets in new surroundings with many new people and other pets may become nervous or anxious. For the safety of all concerned, we ask that all pets be kept on a leash close to their care givers or kept in pet carriers, before entering the building. Leashes are available for your convenience to use while your pet is in the hospital.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, cash and Petcard.
